Dear Juventino

How are you? I have been in the Greek island of Zakynthos; there I helped to the turtles. I am in my house now.

Every day at dawn, the team and I did inspection in the nests and eggs. We were tired. All the day, we patrolled the beach and took care that the tourist didn´t pull garbage, and then we talked with the tourist about the turtles.

This experience was wonderful, I felt emotion since I arrived and I know that the turtles were very happy. The best part was when I helped to a turtle baby, I pondered many things…all were spectacular, my thoughts and feelings have turned. I love to the animals.

I will talk to you tomorrow in the school.

Endangered animals

Jaguar

It is the largest cat from America also it is the higher predator. The Jaguar has been removed in part of Argentina and Mexico. The endangered is because the forest fire and for the porch.

Red wolf

It is in serious problems, in Unitated States of America there are only 150 of the red wolf because the hybridization of coyotes

Black-footed ferret

It is one of the most endangered mammals in America. This species have 250 adult is wildness. The endangered animal is because of the dog and pets.

Vero: Hi, Kassandra! What are you doing?

Kassandra: Oh hi, Vero. I´m just making banners for the Red Nose Day concert.

Vero: Well, Can I give you a hand?

Kassandra: Actually, I´ve nearly finished.  Can you help to put up some posters afterwards?

Vero: Of course.

Kassandra: That´s wonderful! Oh, There´s something else you can do. Is there any chance you could come early tomorrow to help sell tickets at the door?

Vero: Sure I can. What time?

Kassandra: around seven pm would be great.

Vero: Well, see you at 6 tomorrow!

Kassandra: Great, Thanks, Vero.

“Teleton”is a project that tries to promote values through a best quality of life to the children and young.

It started since 1997 in Mexico, it was inspired by the Teleton of Chile and it has been produced by Televisa. It has been celebrated every year in December.

Teleton raise money with the help of bank institutions, companies and the people. The money raised is used to build “CRITS”. The symbol of the Teleton is a yellow heart with purple hands. In all Mexico there are 17 CRITS that help the people. 

Natural disasters
Well, we are in the New York and we can´t believe our eyes!

The Sandy hurricane  has destroyed buildings, statues and the entire city. Here the people are frightened and aren´t in their houses.  The streets have been flood and the stores have closed. We have helped to the homelessness. We have done food to many people but we haven´t had enough supplies. In this moment New York have had 110 persons died.

 

Biography

Albert Einstein is the "father of pump". He was born on March 14th, 1879 in Ulm.

As a child, He was a quiet boy so he had a slow intellectual development. In 1894 his family went to Milan and he stayed there to end his secondary studies. In 1896 he started the collage and in 1902 he was working at the confederal office intellectual property of Berne.

In 1903, Albert Einstein got married with Mileva Maric so they had two children but 16 years later they get divorced and he got married with his cousin Elsa. In 1905, he published scientific theories including “Special Theory of Relativy”, He won the Nobel Prize in Physics. When he had a picture of the solar eclipse The Times recognized him as the new Newton.

In 1993, because Hitler had the power, Albert moved to the USA. There he lived the last years of his life. He died on April 18th, 1955.

Legends

Erendira was a beautiful woman at the time of the Spanish conquest. Everything started when a conqueror was interested in Erendira due to her beauty, innocence and purity. At night he was decided to kidnap but Erendira did not want and she fought. Then they arrived to a valley and Erendira was sad, she could cry only. Finally her tears became in a lake, there she decided to drown herself but a strange enchant turned her into a mermaid and nowadays she is still there. It is the mermaid of lake Zirahuen, Michoacan.

Mexican night. 

It is a traditional celebration in Mexico. It is every year on September 15^th. The people celebrate in their house whit friends and family.  The feast is a way to celebrate the independence of Mexico; in my country people  do honors to the flag and there are fireworks. The food is spectacular; the dishes are delicious as chalupas, pozole, taquitos, tostadas and molotes. It began in 1810 for “El grito de Dolores”, in 2012 we celebrate 202 years of independence.

Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla was very important in the Mexican  independence. He was which lift the rebellion although he was priest.

A letter
Dear Alma,

How are you? I am on vacation in Acapulco  and it is great! I am staying in a hotel near of the Quebrada.  There, the weather is hot and sunny. 
Yesterday, I went to the beach and when I was swimming my swimsuit untied, imagine I was screaming, fortunately I solve it . Oh, today at night   I am going to go for a tour. 

Tomorrow in the morning I am going to go to a cruise,  I am going to visit the beach of Caleta, Caletilla and Puerto Marquez, which are   great.

Dear Nadi,

You know what? , I am at Cancun Mexico. It´s surprising. Tomorrow I´ll definitely go snorkeling in the wonderful  underwater sculpture park! I am taking a bus from Cancun to a beautiful  part of the Yucatan Peninsula, where I´ll definitely swim and go snorkeling. I am excited because there are sculptures of  people and animals, they were   made by  Jason  Taylor, He is the creator. You imagine all. I may see fish and wildlife also. I could take pictures. It´s spectacular. I can´t wait.

Julia:Hi, we are planning to visit the silverwood theme park tomorrow and we are calling for some information.
IDE: Sure, what would you like to know?
Jade: OK, what is the schedule?
IDE: The silverwood theme park is open from 11 am to 7 pm every day.
Julia: How much does it cost to get in?
IDE: It´s $41.99 for adults and $21.99 for children.
Jade: I´d like to ask yo something else. How do I drive there?
IDE: Oh it´s easy. Take highway 95 from Coeu D´Alene Idaho. Can I help you with any thing else?

I am going to do the  chores  on saturday in the morning,  in the afternoon I am going to take a shower and at night I am going to do my homework and  I am going to go out  for dinner  with my family. On Sunday, in the morning I am going to go to the church, in the afternoon I am going to go with my boyfriend and at night I am going to watch a movie in my house.

Vaction activities.

I usually try the local food  when on vacation in Acapulco. I enjoy nature in Oaxaca and take photographs. I also shop souvenirs and finally I usually go sightseeing.I don´t usually go out at night when I am on vacation.

Adventure tour in South America

We will climb the Andes mountains and then we will see endangered species in Peru.








In Bolivia, we will explore the ancient ruins in Tiwanaku and then we will go to Yacuma River in the Madidi  National Park and we will swim with piranha.




Finally in Chile, we will see a spectacular view of the city, then we will travel south to the Andes Mountains and we will climb the snowy volcano at Villarrica.

How are you? So, you want to know about my favorite dish in my country?Well, it´s Tlayoyos and it´s very spicy and delicious in Puebla.
Tlayoyos is akin to gorditas but it have filling of alberjon and avocado leaf. First you make the mass, then you kickthe alberjon whit salt and you grind the avocado leaf and chilis, you pour butter. Finally you make tortilla and you add the condiments. You cook the tortillas in the comal, it´s  accompanied with sauce and cheese. This is a delicious dish.

How are you? So, you want to know about my favorite dish in my country? Well, it´s  Pozole and it´s very delicious and popular in Puebla.

Pozole is like a soup. It has chicken, corn, onion, garlic and other condiments. It´s very easy to make  but a little slow. First, you should  boil the corn with garlic and onion, then add the chicken and wait until  it boils for about 30-40 minutes. We usually serve pozole in clay bowls also  you can add lettuce, oregano and chili. Sometimes, it´s  accompanied with tostadas de tinga or taquitos dorados. This is a delicious dish!

Waiter(Consuelo): good afternoon. Are you ready to order or do you need a few more minutes?



Customer (veronica): We can order now, can I have fried chicken.
Customer(evelyn): I´d like a burger&fries.
Customer(adara) I´d like a omelet and onion rings.

Waiter(consuelo): And what would you like to drink?


Customer(veronica): Oh yea, I´d like a glass of orange juice, please
Customer(evelyn): I´d like a glass of lemonade.


Customer(adara):I´d like a cup of coffee.

Waiter(consuelo): OK, so that´s a fried chicken, a burger&fries, a omelet and a onion rings. Also, a glass of orange juice, a glass of lemonade and a cup of coffee.

Customer(veronica): That´s correct. 

What do you usually have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

For breakfast, I usually have hot  chocolate and a piece of  bread but on sunday I go out  to eat memelas in a street food stand.




 For lunch at  the school I have a torta and a lot of  grape juice and finally a yogurt cup but at my house I have different stews. 




For dinner, I have a bowl of cereal sometimes I go to eat tacos with my father.
